Q&A With Robbie Grabarz
09 January 2014
We caught up with Olympic bronze medallist and European champion Robbie Grabarz ahead of his appearance at the Sainsbury’s Glasgow International Match on Saturday 25 January and got him thinking with a round of quick fire questions…
Best thing to happen in 2013?
Buying a new house in Birmingham
Funniest athlete?
Me, because everyone finds me hilarious!
Best performance by an athlete in 2013?
It would have to be Bohdan Bondarenko’s clearance of 2.41m to win gold in Moscow
Favourite track and why?
I’ve always liked the NIA indoors in Birmingham – it’s a really different surface. It a hard surface to work out, but once you get it right, you can fly.
Describe yourself in three words?
Tall, dark and handsome
Guilty pleasure?
Beer
Most treasured possession and why?
I don’t have anything nice, so probably some nail clippings I had when I was a child!
