There will be a Service of Thanksgiving for my Robert Stinson MBE at 11.30am on Monday 15th July, at the Church St Mary Magdalene in Richmond, Surrey, TW9 1SN.

As part of the servies, Lord Seb Coe and the Chairman of the Achilles Club Dewi Robertswill make an address.

Robert Stinson was Life President of the British Athletics Supporters Club Robert Stinson and died in April at the age of 82.

Stinson spent 50 years in various roles in athletics including IAAF Honorary Treasurer for nearly 20 years between 1984-2003, various senior positions within the British Amateur Athletic Board, Team Manager for Great Britain teams, Chairman of the British Athletics League and Chairman of the Achilles Athletics Club for Oxford and Cambridge University athletes.

Stinson also held the position of IAAF delegate at a number of major championships and World Cup meetings in what was a distinguished career in the sport.
