There are still a few places available for coaches to attend the Spar Sprints East Midlands Coaching Masterclass with Michael Afilaka, personal coach to European Indoor 60m finalist Janette Kwakye and Norwich Union Indoor 200m Champion Rikki Fifton. The event is being held at Loughborough University High Performance Centre on Saturday May 19 between 2-5pm – the day before the Loughborough International meeting.

During the Spar Sprints masterclass, Afilaka will discuss his approach to sprint training with a specific emphasis on planning for competition. Guests are invited to bring along their own training plans or video footage of their athletes for analysis and discussion. There will be time for questions and perhaps some practical demonstrations.
