Steve Backley Signs For Scottish Conference

The line up for the scottishathletics International Coaching Conference 2007 – ‘Developing Potential to Performance’ – has been announced, and features a number of World Class presenters.

 

The Conference on Saturday 17th November, supported by Bank of Scotland and the Dallas Trust, is being staged by scottishathletics following the success of the 2006 event, which featured legendary American Sprinter, Michael Johnson and top Paralympian Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson.

 

Included in those headlining the event will be current President of the European Athletic Coaches Association Dr Frank Dick OBE, also known for his role as Scottish National Coach, and Bruce Longden, former UK National Coach and mentor to Olympic Gold Medallists Daley Thompson and Sally Gunnell.

 

Keynote deliveries will also be presented from multiple GB Olympian Steve Backley OBE and the highly respected Fayyaz Ahmed – former international high jumper, and coach to Welsh record holder Julie Crane.
