TEST AND TRACE SYSTEM

The test and trace requirements during coronavirus will help all activity organisers (club/coaching/event/venue) provide details to the relevant Local Health boards responsible in the event of an outbreak.

The general requirement is to be able to provide contact details of those present in the event of a positive Covid-19 test to the relevant track and trace service. This information should be retained for 21 days after the session takes place. After this details should be destroyed.

There are further legal requirements (currently only in England) for indoor venues and events to provide a QR code. This does not apply to events that are held only outdoors. All devolved nations have a mobile App, these have different functions and you should be familiar with how these apply to you and your activities.

There may be some further local requirements that venues or Local Authorities may have. Therefore, please ensure you liaise with these authorities and adhere to their regulations.
