TOM CRAGGS APPOINTED UK ATHLETICS WORLD CLASS PROGRAMME ENDURANCE LEAD
UK Athletics has appointed Tom Craggs as the World Class Programme (WCP) Endurance Lead for the endurance programme and events. Craggs will lead the WCP in this area over the next cycle, focusing on LA 2028 and beyond.
For the last six months, he has been working as a WCP Engagement Lead for the marathon events. Over the last five years, he has worked within England Athletics, starting out as the Road Running Manager and Marathon lead before becoming the National Endurance Manager in 2023. Prior to this Tom worked as a professional coach and personal trainer.
Tom Craggs said; “I’m very excited to be joining UK Athletics at such an important time for the sport. The UK has some of the best athletes and coaches in the world, and I am lucky to be working with a very talented team on the World Class Programme.
“I’m looking forward to building on some of the excellent work from recent years and helping to develop an environment, system, and culture that supports athletes and coaches to thrive in our amazing sport and achieve their goals at the highest level.”
He will begin the position at the start of May.
