Next weekend’s bank holiday weekend sees the UK Javelin Carnival return to Loughborough for its sixth year.

The Carnival, run through Loughborough University with support from British Athletics, will take place from Sunday 28 May – Monday 29 May, with day one of event culminating in senior men’s and women’s competitions and day two offering a coaching clinic before the  U17 and U20 events.  

Sightline Performance and Nordic are set to provide Javelins for all event winners, with the British Athletics Supporters Club are also giving prizes to the top three athletes at U17 level.

Pre-event entries for the Carnival close next Tuesday (23 May), with ‘on the day’ entries available at a slightly greater entrance fee.

As in previous years, the event will also be raising money for the Ron Picketing Memorial Fund.
