Following the postponement and rescheduling of the Virgin Money London Marathon, British Athletics can confirm that we are planning to stage a marathon trial specifically for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. 

We are looking at 25 to 27 April, and the event would be held in a closed location, with limited numbers.
