Chris Moss, Development Director at UK Athletics, commented, “Once again, to see our Officials achieving qualifications at World Athletics level is really encouraging. We have a strong tradition of having Technical Officials that operate internationally across all disciplines of the sport, and our aim is to keep increasing those who can support the sport both nationally and internationally and on the biggest stages.
“With the European Championships coming to Birmingham next year, it is vital that we have the appropriate level of technical expertise in place to best deliver the championships. Congratulations to all those in the recent cohort who have achieved Bronze level status, and also thanks must go to the UKA Technical Advisory Group for their support in this process.”
