Vault Britain, a new indoor pole vault series, has been launched with competitions taking place in London on 12 January 2014, Cardiff on 1 February 2014 and Manchester on 8 March 2014.

Entries for the first competition of the series, Vault London, are open from Saturday November 16 and entry to the Cardiff and Manchester competitions will be available shortly after.

The series looks to build on the success of Vault Manchester, which has ran for the last eight years, and use the great atmosphere to allow vaulters of all ages to perform at their best.

A first prize of £100 is on offer for the top senior and junior athletes with the top two heights counting towards the overall result, athletes must compete in at least two of the competitions to be eligible for prize money.

“This exciting new competition structure gives an excellent opportunity for pole vaulters at all levels to compete both locally and nationally at their required level. Having these competitions are the next step in driving standards upwards by providing athletes with the very best competition and atmosphere.
