Athletics Fans in the UK setting New Year’s running resolutions have multiple chances of securing entry to the Virgin London Marathon via Run England and the Ron Pickering Memorial Fund

For Run England, interested parties simply need to complete their Run England profile to win one of two guaranteed Virgin London Marathon places.

To enter the ballot, all you have to do is go to www.runengland.org/updateprofile and update your profile using the quick and easy form. If you aren’t already a member, you can join Run England FOC at www.runengland.org/signup and you will be entered into the ballot.

The competition will run until midnight on 15 January. Only members with fully updated profiles by this date will be eligible to win. We’ll contact the two lucky winners shortly after this date.

Meanwhile, the Ron Pickering Memorial Fund has places for The Virgin London Marathon available providing runners can commit to raising at least £1000 for the RPMF.

Support from the the Ron Pickering Memorial Fund has become an established element at the grass roots of athletics and over the past 20 years the Fund has given £1,159,677 in various grants to participants in the sport – including Jessica Ennis, Phillips Idowu and Dai Greene.
