The Norwich Union Great Britain and Northern Ireland team’s golden trio of athletes from the European Indoor Championships, Jason Gardener, Nicola Sanders and Phillips Idowu are all in this month’s European Athletics Association nominations list, for the European Athlete of the Month for March.

There are separate awards for men and women. A total of 35 athletes from 17 countries have been nominated.

In conjunction with the media, members of the general public can also vote at the European Athletics Association website, so get clicking now!

The voting will close on Thursday 10 April at 12 noon.
