Vote For Your Favourite Olympic Gold
12 April 2012
UKA has launched a poll to find out athletics fans’ favourite athletics gold medal winning moment from an Olympic Games over the last 60 years.
The poll, which features every gold medal winning performance in the post World War era, has been launched so that fans can show exactly which spine tingling moment holds the most significance!
Will it be Chris Brasher’s Melbourne 1956 3000m steeplechase gold, that will gain the votes of older athletics fans, or the more recent emotional scenes at Christine Ohuruogu crossed the line first in Beijing in 2008?
Will the ongoing Coe versus Ovett rivalry re-establish itself in this poll, or will the excitement of seeing the men’s 4x100m squad of Jason Gardener, Marlon Devonish, Darren Campbell and Mark Lewis Francis take Athens 2004 gold, once again take an unexpected victory.
Don’t delay – make your vote count today by following the link below
