Steeplechaser Eilish McColgan (Liz McColgan Nuttall) competed in her first ever 10k road race and she did not disappoint with a second place finish in 33:02. She narrowly edged Rhona Auckland (Joyce Hogg) into third as the twenty-one year old took over a minute off her personal best to finish in 33:03.

In the wheelchair races, there were victories for Jade Jones (Ian Thompson/Tanni Grey-Thompson) in the women’s race and Callum Hall in the men’s race.
