IAAF World Challenge, Melbourne, April 6

Olympic champion Greg Rutherford (Dan Pfaff) achieved a good early season performance to win with a jump of 8.10m (+0.6) to defeat Olympic silver medallist Mitchell Watt in his home patch and go top of the McCain Power of Ten long jump rankings for 2013.

Carlsbad 5km, April 7

Jonny Mellor (David Evans) finished 10th in a time of 14:04 to go top of the McCain Power of Ten 5km road rankings. The race was won by Dejen Gebremeskel of Ethiopia in 13:20.

Cherry Blossom 10, Washington, April 7

Olympic marathoner Claire Hallissey (self-coached) went top of the UK 10 mile rankings when she was 16th in a time of 55:51.

Berlin Half-Marathon, April 7

National Cross Country Championships runner-up Sonia Samuels (George Gandy) went fourth in the McCain Power of Ten half-marathon rankings with a PB time of 72:36.

Wakefield Open, April 6

Michael Bomba (Ronnie Bomba) achieved his first 70m hammer throw, throwing 70.90m  to go third in the UK hammer rankings.

Florida Relays, April 4-6

Tiffany Porter (Rana Reider), Anyika Onuora (Rana Reider) and Shara Proctor (Rana Reider) were joined by American Danielle Carruthers to finish second in 44.19 in the 4x100m relay.

Dwain Chambers (Rana Reider), Harry Aikines Aryeetey (Rana Reider) and  James Ellington were joined by American long jumper Christian Taylor and also finished second in the 4x100m relay in 38.84.

Shana Cox (George Williams) and Onoura were part of a winning 4x200m relay team with a time of 1:32.02 alongside two American athletes.
