World Indoor Throwing, Vaxjo, Sweden, March 10

Jade Nicholls (Andrew Neal) won the women’s discus with 58.97m which is unofficially a World indoor best.

Brett Morse (Self-coached) finished fifth in the men’s discus with 59.14m, while in the same event but with the lighter 1.5kg implement, F44 World Record holder Dan Greaves – the three times World Champion – recorded a new indoor World Record of 57.56m.

"I’ve had such a great week training with the group out here and the Olympic champion, and it really paid off," said Greaves, who believes, with good reason, that he has a 60m plus throw in him.
