Wokingham Half-Marathon, February 10

Former British steeplechase champion Adam Bowden (Tony Bush) who took up the triathlon after missing Olympic selection in 2008, won in his half-marathon debut to go top of the McCain Power of Ten rankings.

Women’s winner Emily Wicks (Keith Donkin), who was in Britain’s medal winning team in the European cross-country championships, set a PB of 74:16 to go top of the women’s rankings.

Almarez, Spain  February 10

European Trials winner Jonathan Taylor (Gordon Surtees) produced another quality run, finishing fifth in the international cross-country event in a time of 29:29.

Junior Annabel Gummow (Neville Taylor) was the leading British woman in ninth in a time of 24:43.

In the juinior races, there were wins for Britons James McMurray (Deborah Steer) and Maryse Haynes (Alan Hewson).

Seattle, February 8/9

Tom Farrell (Dave Smith) set a PB of 7:51.77 in finishing second in his 3000m race to go top of the McCain Power of Ten rankings.

Luke Caldwell (Robert Russell) took almost a minute off his personal best at the 5000m and his 13:40.39 puts him top of the rankings for that event.

Tyson Invitational, Fayetteville, February 8/9

Chris Govell (Todd Harbour) ran his first sub-four minute mile when he ran 3:57.85 to come second and go top of the McCain Power of Ten rankings.

Nethaneel Mitchell-Blake went top of the UK U20 200m rankings with his outright 21.08 PB.
