Ben Reynolds (James Hillier), who has dual nationality, set a Northern Ireland 110m hurdles record of 13.49.

Newham, June 26

Gianni Frankis (Tony Jarrett) set a 110m hurdles PB of 13.54/2.0 to go second in the McCain Power of Ten rankings and left him short of the World Championships B standard of 13.50.

Watford Open, June 26

Canaan Soloman (Richard Thurston) went top of the UK under-15 1500m rankings with his near 10 second PB of 4:03.29.

Kate Avery (Tony Simmons) went second in the McCain Power of Ten rankings outdoors at 3000m with a PB of 8:58.90.

Sollentuna, Sweden, June 27

Michael Rimmer (Norman Poole) already has the 800m world championships A standard of 1:45.30, and he just missed it with his third place in 1:45.41 as he bettered the B standard of 1:46.20 for the fourth time this season.

Andy Vernon won the 5000m in 13:36.16 to go fifth in the UK rankings.

Ostrava, June 27

James Wilkinson (Philip Townsend) went top of the McCain Power of Ten rankings at 3000m steeplechase with his personal best 8:28.74 in sixth place which betters the World Championships B standard of 8:32.0.

IAAF world junior champion Adam Gemili (Michael Afilaka) went third in the 100m rankings with his fourth place in 10.19/-0.5, which betters the World Championships B standard of 10.21.

Dublin, July 29

Bethan Davies (Andi Drake) set a Welsh record over the 20km walk with a time of 1:41:44 to go top of the McCain Power of Ten rankings.

In the men’s race IAlex Wright (Raph Rinaldi) clocked 85:23 in fifth, to go inside the UK B standard for the World Championships ithough he already has the A standard from March.

Welsh championships, Cardiff, June 29/30

Brett Morse (Andy Brittan) set a World Championships A standard (66.00m) with a throw of 66.84m, which puts him second in the UK all time lists. It also puts him top of the McCain Power of Ten rankings.

Ryan Spencer-Jones (Andy Brittan) went fourth on the 2013 outdoor shot rankings with a winning throw of 18.03m.

BMC Grand Prix, Watford, June 30

Jake Wightman (Geoff Wightman) won the 800m in a PB 1:48.45 to go second in the under-20 McCain Power of Ten rankings and better the European Junior standard of 1:49.00. Kyle Langford (George Harrison) was second in a PB 1:49.02 and again bettered the world youth standard of 1:51.00.

James McMurray (Deborah Steere) was fourth in the D race in 1:50.88.

Stephanie Twell (Mick Woods) finished second in the 5000m in 15:30.88 to go second in the UK rankings – missing the top ranked by just 0.06 of a second. The World Championships B standard is 15:24.0.

Laura Whittle (George Gandy) finished third in 15:35.24 to go third in the rankings.

Beth Potter (Mick Woods) finished seventh in 15:51.49 and bettered the European under-23 Championships standard of 16:05.0
