Lee Valley Sprints Open, July 31

Exciting sprint talent Kesi Oludoyi improved his UK under-15 record from his win at the English Schools Championships, with a 100m time of 10.83 with a legal wind behind him of 1.9m/s. He improved this with an even faster 10.77 albeit this time with an illegal 2.5m/s wind behind him. The fastest senior 100m time was Sean Safo-Antwi (coach: Jonas Tawiah-Dodoo) who ran 10.10 but with a 5.8m/s tailwind behind him.

British Athletics League Premiership, Hendon, August 3

The 2012 England under-20 champion George Caddick (Dominic Tighe) finished second at Hendon in the 400m clocking 46.77 to go top of the Power of Ten under-20 rankings.

TD Beach To Beacon 10km, Cape Elizabeth, USA, August 3

Gemma Steel (John Nuttall) took half a minute off her personal best to run 31:36 in second place and go well clear of the top of the UK rankings and fourth on the all-time lists.

Stockholm Ultra Marathon, Stockholm, August 4

Steven Way became the fifth fastest British male of all-time in winning the Stockholm Ultra Marathon on his 100km debut. His time of 6.20.14 was also the fastest in the world this year.
