There was some overseas success for Britain’s long distance runners as the Power of Ten marathon rankings were revised in what was generally a quiet weekend of athletics.

Auckland Half Marathon & Marathon, October 31
Matt Smith won the half marathon in 66:38.

Dublin Marathon, October 25
Tomas Abyu finished seventh in 2:14:32 and went second in the Power of Ten rankings for 2010.
The leading British woman was Jo Thompson who broke the British W50 record with 2:52:33.
