What's New On Ucoach?

British Athletics’ world-leading coaching resource is constantly being updated with great new content. Here’s a look at some of what’s new on uCoach:

Peter Stanley: My thoughts on two great coaches

The newly appointed Head of Coaching and Development reflects on the experience of learning from two leading American coaches – Tom Tellez and Loren Seagrave – at last autumn’s European Sprints and Hurdles Conference at Warwick University. Stanley gives a detailed account of the different principles posed by both coaches and concludes that there is a great deal can be taken from the theories of both.

Anatoliy Bondarchuk: Reaching peak condition (part 1)

Dr Anatoliy Bondarchuk, renowned coach and 1972 Olympic hammer champion, discusses the implementation of his unique style of programming to the hammer throw. Bondarchuk goes into detail on peaking and how to cope with traveling to competitions with specific reference to Canadian Commonwealth shot put champion Dylan Armstrong. This video will be of use to all specialist hammer coaches.
